Megan is a health policy consultant with over 15 years of experience in health policy and administration. She is focused on health care policy, value-based payment, strategic planning, policy development and implementation. She is a national thought leader, skilled writer, presenter, and expert facilitator of multi-stakeholder groups. She has supported client efforts to slow health care cost growth, introduce value-based payment programs, and integrate behavioral health into the primary care setting. She also offers strategic planning to health-related non-profit organizations.

Prior to consulting, Megan was a hospital administrator at the UPMC Health System focused on inpatient and outpatient operations. There she completed a fellowship in hospital administration, participated in leadership training, and managed clinical and non-clinical staff.

Early in Megan’s career, she worked for a Washington, DC-based think tank developing policy ideas for members of Congress. She completed graduate and undergraduate internships at UnitedHealthcare and the New York State Assembly, respectively.

Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Cortland, where she was honored with a Distinguished Alumni Award, and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Terry Sanford Institute at Duke University.
